Prices decrease for petroleum products

Changes in international crude oil prices have led to lower prices for the majority of petroleum products for local consumers as of today, Monday December 21, 2015.

Diesel will be sold for $0.35 less, at $9.68 per gallon. Unleaded gasoline will be sold for $0.59 less, at $10.30 per gallon. The price of kerosene remains unchanged.

The 100lb, 22lb and 20lb cylinders have decreased by $5.49, $0.64 and $0.58, respectively. The new retail prices are as follows:

  • 100lb cylinder, $174.74;
  • 22lb cylinder, $27.74; and
  • 20lb cylinder, $24.97.

Despite the change in prices, Government continues to subsidize the 20lb and 22lb LPG cylinders at a cost of $9.98 and $10.70 per cylinder respectively.

The next price adjustment will be on January 11, 2016.
